PrePass Carriers Can Now Bypass in Oregon

If you’re a carrier operating on the roads of Oregon, we have some great news to start your year.

Effective immediately, PrePass carriers are able to enroll their transponders with the Oregon Green Light weigh station bypass service. This will mean opportunities to bypass inspections at more than 20 locations throughout the state.

The Oregon Green Light program is run by the Oregon DOT’s Motor Carrier Transportation Division, and nearly 4,000 carriers are enrolled.

To get started, submit a signed waiver of HELP Inc.’s data privacy policy to PrePass. The waiver is necessary because HELP does not share date and time stamp data from weigh station bypass events, but in this case, we want customers to be aware that data may be shared with Green Light in order to use the service. View the waiver and see instructions on how to submit it here.

Once PrePass receives the waiver, we’ll send a letter of authorization to the Green Light Program and you’ll be a step closer to saving more time and fuel while traveling the Beaver state.
