Truckers Against Trafficking

Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) is a 501(c)3 that exists to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the trucking and travel plaza industry to combat domestic sex trafficking. TAT achieves this mission by saturating trucking and related industries with education materials; partnering with law enforcement and government agencies to facilitate the investigation of human trafficking; and marshalling the resources of our partners to combat this crime.

Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) is a nonprofit association comprised of local, state, provincial, territorial and federal commercial motor vehicle safety officials and industry representatives. The Alliance aims to achieve uniformity, compatibility and reciprocity of commercial motor vehicle inspections and enforcement by certified inspectors dedicated to driver and vehicle safety.

SmartWay

EPA’s SmartWay program helps companies advance supply chain sustainability by measuring, benchmarking, and freight transportation efficiency. SmartWay provides a comprehensive and well-recognized system for tracking, documenting and sharing information about fuel use and freight emissions. They also help companies select more efficient freight carriers, transport modes, equipment, and operational strategies to improve sustainability and lower transportation costs.

Share the Road

Share the Road is a highway safety program of the American Trucking Associations (ATA). Since 1986, the Share the Road program has been teaching the public how to share the road with large trucks. Million-mile accident free professional truck drivers deliver specific life-saving safety tips to the public, the media, and our public officials through television, radio, the web and in print.

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week

National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 9-15, 2018, is when America takes the time to honor all professional truck drivers for their hard work and commitment in tackling one of our economy's most demanding and important jobs. These 3.5 million professional men and women not only deliver our goods safely, securely and on time, they also keep our highways safe.
